Movies In 3D – March 24, 2011
Apparently General Sarge really enjoyed going to the movies the other night. He must have told Master Sarge how much fun it was too. When I arrived home today they were both sitting in the chair surrounded by movies and wearing 3D movie glasses! It didn’t take me long to figure out what they wanted to do for the afternoon.
I also have a feeling General Sarge and Slappy Bear have been talking with one another about seeing life in 3D. @SlappyBear likes to wear 3D glasses too. They’ve become good friends of late and now they’re both out to change the world with their fun daily posts too!
I found it interesting to see what movies General Sarge picked out. You can tell he’s Ben’s bear! He picked out some of Ben’s favorite movies from our DVD collection – Flyboys, Sahara and a couple Batman movies too. While at Basic Ben said they do keep quite busy. But one day he did tell me they had time to watch a movie. He’s a huge movie fan and what did they pick to watch? What to many was a new movie, but for Ben was one he saw just before he shipped out – Unstoppable – While Ben said it was nice to watch a movie and do something different, he did have to keep his mouth shut so he wouldn’t spoil the movie for everyone else.
Please Help Us Get To Ben’s Graduation
Graduation is rapidly approaching and don’t forget you can support us by buying a “General Sarge’s Family First Campaign” coffee package. All the proceeds from the sales of this coffee package, which contains five 1.5 oz packages of Devil Dog Brew flavored coffee and a signed General Sarge 4×6 picture go towards helping off-set travel costs to Ben’s graduation at the end of April.
Also please note, all of the proceeds from the sale of the “Families First Campaign” will always go to support military families off-set their expenses for graduation travel. It’s important that families attend the graduation ceremonies. But many times they can’t afford to go because of the expense.
So help out General Sarge in this worthy cause.
If you’d like to support financially in other ways, please feel free to contact me via email and we can talk about that too.
