Greetings from Build-A-Bear Workshop store in Eastview Mall! Today I went to work with my human-owners Dad, which also happens to be the place where I was “born” when my human-owner made me when he was 10. It’s always nice to visit the place where I came from!
Today my human-owners Dad worked, though he says it’s not work if you’re having fun. He has a lot of fun building new furry friends. Of course, furry friends are the best because we give the best hugs!
As you can see in the picture below, I’m having a lot of fun helping my human-owners Dad build bears. It’s cool to see these furry friends come to life and faces light up with that first hug.

Military Child of The Week Salute – December 4, 2011
As most of you know we’ve been traveling this past weekend. Today we are making our way back to General Sarge HQ. we’ve had a great time in San Diego and of course need say a great big thank you to all the wonderful people we’ve met. A special thanks to Faith Vera and her family for hosting us at their home too.
We took lots of pictures so be watching for those in the days ahead too. We also gathered a lot of nominations and pictures for our Military Child of the Week Salute too.

PFC Benjamin Jeffrey is our son. He's an active duty soldier currently with the 2nd Brigade Infantry stationed at FT Lewis, WA. When Ben was 10 he made a Build-A-Bear who is now General Sarge. This blog chronicles General Sarge's daily activities with me while Ben is away serving our country.
