021312: Military Child of the Week Salute

Military Child of the Week Salute – Driscoll Kids
February 13, 2012

It’s time for our Military Child of the Week Salute! Every Monday we salute a military child for their sacrifice as a parent – or in some cases both parents – are deployed serving our country.

If you’d like to nominate a military child for our weekly salute it’s easy to do!

Today we are saluting and giving a big “Two paws up” to the Driscoll kids!

Please say hello to Luca, Ava Mae and Ella Rose. Their father is U.S. Marine Corporal Timothy B. Driscoll. This is a great family picture with Mom – TaraLynn – in the picture too!

They are a great looking family and we are thrilled to salute them here at General Sarge HQ today too.

A Wounded Hero

I haven’t met the Driscoll’s yet but I know my human-owners Dad has met both CPL Driscoll and his wife TaraLynn. I am looking forward to meeting them and the kids too!

When nominating her kids TaraLynn wrote

“I’d like to nominate my three wonderful children, who live and breathe the meaning of Semper Fidelis (Always faithful) every single day while their father was deployed, returned injured and served our country!!! OOORAH!!!”

CPL Driscoll is with USMC, Combat Logistics Battalion 6 based out of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. We  thank you for your service and we do give special teddy bear hugs to your kids too. Military kids are part of a special family and here at General Sarge HQ we love “comforting them with furry friends”. With that in mind be on the look out for a special teddy bear for you and your kids as we’re preparing a Wounded Hero bear for your entire family.

May you always be encouraged and may the furry friend hugs keep you smiling too.

Two paws up!
General Sarge
