Teddy Bear Tuesday – January 31, 2012

It’s Teddy Bear Tuesday! A fun day where we like to highlight teddy bears from all over. Sometimes we feature teddy bears of friends of General Sarge HQ. But today is a really special Teddy Bear Tuesday – today I have pictures of my visit, along with my human-owner PFC Benjamin Jeffrey, to the Eastview Mall Build-A-Bear Workshop store in Victor, New York to make his Deployment Bear!

Meet General Stealth Sarge!

At Christmas time my good friend Molly – the Digital Marking Bear from BABW World Bear-Quarters in St. Louis sent me a package to give to Ben for Christmas. It included a trip to a store to build a new bear since I’ll be staying at home with Ben’s parents when he deploys. Of course Molly knows the importance of furry friends and she wanted to make sure Ben has one for his time serving our country.

We had a great time building my little brother and now I’m proud to introduce you to General Stealth Sarge!

Picking A New Furry Friend

Picking out a new furry friend and bringing him to life is such a fun experience. Of course it all starts by picking out the perfect furry friend! As you can see I helped Ben pick out his new friend. I wanted to make sure he picked the best little brother for me that he could. After all, he does have to look after PFC Ben when he’s overseas.

If you look closely at the picture you’ll see I’m even sneaking in a little hug for Stealth here before we moved onto the stuffer machine to fill him full of love and fluff. It’s so much fun bringing a new furry friend to life and we went through all the steps. The stuffing, the heart, the first hug, the shower and of course getting dressed!
