Military Child of the Week Salute – Anna & Gracie Wolf
January 23, 2012
It’s time for our Military Child of the Week Salute! Every Monday we salute a military child for their sacrifice as a parent – or in some cases both parents – are deployed serving our country. If you’d like to nominate a military child for our weekly salute it’s easy to do!
Today please say hello to Anna and Gracie Wolf! Here’s a picture of Anna and Gracie welcoming their Daddy home – LT. Joshua Wolf – as he returned home from deployment on board the USS Preble last year.
Anna and Gracie were nominated by their Mom – Frances Wolf – who writes;
“I am nominating my two beautiful girls because they were amazing through deployment, even though their Daddy missed birthdays for both, Easter, an entire softball season and the first day of kindergarten. They were strong and knew exactly what their Daddy was doing and where he was. They are proud Navy kids and tell anyone and everyone they can what their Daddy does”.
Well done Anna and Gracie! As proud Navy Military Kids we give you a great big two paws up!
Celebrate The Military Child
We were thrilled and honored to meet Frances – who’s also the co-founder of Celebrate the Military Child with Faith Vera – in San Diego, CA. We had a great time there in December meeting all kinds of military kids and their families!
Frances even took some time out from her busy day and posed for a picture with me! We also met Anna, Gracie and their Daddy at the Holiday Bonanza too. I know both Anna and Gracie had their eye on a Navy bear we gave away to someone for Christmas. So now you can both watch the mail for a special package coming your way from General Sarge HQ really soon!
Two paws up!
