Teddy Bear Tuesday – Gift-A-Bears!

Teddy Bear Tuesday is such a fun day here at General Sarge HQ! After all, furry friends are the best right? Lets not forget that furry friends are also forever. As you know I had a great time with my human-owner PFC Benjamin Jeffrey who was home on leave during Christmas.
We did a lot of fun things together and spent a lot of time together too. We also gathered in some new recruits for the Gift-A-Bear Campaign!
Since it’s Teddy Bear Tuesday I thought this was a good time to give the new recruits a good look over and make sure they get enrolled in their New Recruit Class so they’re ready for deployment when they’re called into action to comfort a military child.
Lunch With The Stiefler’s
One of our highlights over Christmas was meeting up with Randy and Lynne Stiefler for lunch. While I’ve meet them before along with my human-owners Dad, PFC Ben had never met them before. When we started putting together our schedule for Christmas we made sure Randy and Lynne were on our calendar for lunch!
Randy and Lynne are great supporters of the Gift-A-Bear Campaign and the box of new recruits I’m pictured with above were donated by them.

General Sarge
PFC Benjamin Jeffrey is our son. He's an active duty soldier currently with the 2nd Brigade Infantry stationed at FT Lewis, WA. When Ben was 10 he made a Build-A-Bear who is now General Sarge. This blog chronicles General Sarge's daily activities with me while Ben is away serving our country.
