Day 155: Our Beary Good Friend

Our Beary Good Friend – August 2, 2011

Today we took a trip to Eastview Mall where we had a very special planning meeting with our beary good friends at the Build-A-Bear Workshop store.  General Sarge loves meeting his friends at the store and here he is with Renee Rivera the Chief Workshop Manager.

Day 155 - Out Beary Good Friend Renee and all the people at the Eastview Mall store are wonderful supporters of what we’re doing here at General Sarge HQ and now we’re thrilled that Renee is helping us with ideas to get bears for our Gift-A-Bear Campaign too! General Sarge’s human-owners big brother Zack always told us “Renee is the best!” Well, Zack is right and we really appreciate all the help and encouragement we’re receiving from Renee.

In the words of General Sarge…
We give Renee a great big “Two paws up!”

There are exciting things taking place and be sure to watch for a post this weekend about a new member of the General Sarge team – SFC M.M.! We’re working on the paperwork and details but be watching soon for an exciting announcement here on how you can support the Gift-A-Bear Campaign when visiting Eastview Mall in Victor, New York.

Staying Army Strong!

    • Hi DS Buff;

      I know what you mean! Not only am I excited but I have to admit I left my sunglasses on today because I didn’t want anyone to see that a General had a couple tears in his eyes from the support we’re getting here. Tears of joy.

      Two paws up!
      General Sarge

  2. We love and appreciate all the support that the Build-A-Bear company is giving you in your efforts to share and support the military. Keep on spreading the good word and we will remain behind you offering our encouragement as well.
