Day 96: Easter Egg Hunt

Easter Egg Hunt – April 23, 2011

It’s the day before Easter! That means today was also time for the Annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the radio station my human-owners Dad works at. It was the 28th Annual 1420 WACK Easter Egg Hunt. That’s a lot of years of doing this hunt and there are always lots of kids!

This year I got to go too! I had my eye on the really shiny egg that’s at my feet in this picture. But, my human-owners Dad told me I had to leave it for the little kids. That’s fine though. You know me, I love kids and I did not mind leaving the egg for one of the little one’s to pick up. The egg hunt started around 10:10 am and I want to tell you all those little kids certainly ran fast and picked up all the eggs! They got their exercise today!

Master Sarge Was At The Hunt Too!

Since Ryan is home right now for a while as he prepares for Basic

Training he and Master Sarge went to the Easter Egg hunt too! Check it out! Master Sarge got to meet the Easter Bunny! Master Sarge and Ryan were pretty lucky to meet the Easter Bunny. I’m not sure if they got any candy from him though. I’ll have to go through Master Sarge’s foot locker later today and see if there’s any hidden in there. After all, chocolate would be contra-band and I’d have to make Master Sarge either share some chocolate with me, or do some push ups.

Another thing about the radio station Easter Egg hunt are the nice memories it brings back. For a number of years Ben worked at the radio station. He was even the one dressing up in the Easter Bunny from time to time too! So it was a happy day remembering the great fun we’d have at the egg hunt with Ben too.

Help Us Get To Fort Benning

We’re very excited about Ben’s upcoming graduation, but we’re also asking for help to off-set our costs to Fort Benning. There are now two ways you can help us as we prepare for the trip.

The proceeds from the above purchases go to our
“Families First Campaign”.

Also, if you would like to make a direct tax-deductible donation to us you can do that as well. Just send me an email for information about how to do that.
