Task Force Member – PVT Sparky
March 30, 2011
You may have noticed General Sarge did not make a post yesterday. Once again he is keeping busy as things continue to move along at what seems to be break-neck speed at times here at General Sarge HQ. On the heels of introducing the P90X/Bear Dare, General Sarge is now busy putting together a special Task Force! While General Sarge is in the Army, just like his human owner PVT Ben, here at General Sarge HQ our plan is to support all branches of the military. As a result, General Sarge decided he needed to put in place a special Task Force.
Today General Sarge is proud to introduce PVT. Sparky as an official member of the newly formed Task Force.
While other members will be introduced along the way, the picture for today makes it official that PVT. Sparky is in charge of communication for the Task Force.
As you can see PVT. Sparky is all set with his headset and radio ready for his job as Communication Coordinator. It’s a very important position as I’m sure there will be lots of messages to relay to military families as time goes on. General Sarge even made a special presentation to PVT. Sparky once all the paperwork was completed too. If you look behind them you will see an official Army backpack! That way PVT. Sparky has a great bag to carry his communication equipment around in.
Be Watching For More Members
In the days ahead be watching for more additions to the General Sarge Task Force. Once they’re all in place, you will be able to read all about them on a special Task Force page here on the site.
Help Us Get To Fort Benning
We’re very excited about Ben’s upcoming graduation, but we’re also asking for help to off-set our costs to Fort Benning. There are now two ways you can help us as we prepare for the trip.
- Take Part in the P90X/Bear Dare and buy the P90X program here
- General Sarge Post Card Coffee Travel Pack
The proceeds from the above purchases go to our “Families First Campaign”.
Also, if you would like to make a direct tax-deductible donation to us you can do that as well. Just send me an email for information about how to do that.
